Consumer rights

Consumer Rights Protection

Consumer protection, in a broader sense, refers to the laws and regulations that ensure fair interaction between service providers and consumers.

A consumer protection system generally includes ensuring transparency and access to information about goods and services, promoting market competition, preventing fraud, improving consumers’ financial literacy, and preventing unfair business practices.

What should a consumer do if their rights are violated?

First of all, if your rights have been violated, you should immediately contact the bank’s management, either verbally or in writing.

If the consumer’s rights are not restored, they have the right to apply to the competent government authorities, local self-government bodies, or directly to a court responsible for enforcing consumer protection legislation.

In addition, the consumer may apply to the Appeals Department of the Central Bank, which handles appeals from individuals and legal entities, requesting the restoration of their rights.
